OUR PASTOR

 

Pastor Mike Wiley  is committed to leading Hope Church through strong, consistent Bible teaching and by discipling believers both individually and corporately.
He is a graduate of the Oregon College of Ministry. He attended Portland Bible College and has taken classes through Life Pacific College, located in San Dimas, California.

In previous years, Pastor Mike served on full-time staff as the ordained business administrator with New Song Community Church, a multi-ethnic mega-church in Portland, Oregon, where he also served for six years on the governing Board of Elders. He has also led evangelism teams, college-age ministries, home groups, weekly prayer meetings, and nursing home ministries.
In addition to church staff ministry, he has been active in ministry through politics, business, and the media.

Pastor Mike has lead church evangelism efforts in the community and has designed tracts and publications for outreach.

In his personal time, Pastor Mike works out, reads books on theology and current issues, enjoys bike riding, and spends time with his lovely wife Joan.

He is the author of the book The Salvation of Angels, husband of Joan Wiley, and the father of two adult married daughters.
